Otherwise known as the Belle Brown Northcott Memorial, the Luray Singing Tower is a fixture of the Luray Caverns area of tourism and geology. It is one of the nation's premiere carillons, holding 47 bells in a 147-foot-tall structure—one of which weighs 7,640 pounds. Located about 150 miles up Interstate 81 from Roanoke, the Tower lies just opposite the Caverns; 45-minute recitals occur regularly during the Spring, Summer, and Fall months.
Recitals happen Apr - May: Sat. - Sun. 2:00 p.m.; June - Aug: Tues., Thurs. & Sat. - Sun. 8:00 p.m.; Sep - Oct: Sat. - Sun. 2:00 p.m.
